When Avery Grambs inherits a fortune from an eccentric billionaire, his family has no idea who she is or why she’s been left such a vast sum. The trouble is: Avery doesn’t know either.
Caught in the political intrigue of a family at war with itself, Avery is obliged to move into the Hawthorne mansion where she is met by a whole host of characters: from young to old, murderous to passive-aggressive and, in among the lot of them, four brothers who, having lost their birth-right, still have a few secrets left to guard and a game that must be finished.
An absolute rollercoaster, I fell in love with Avery and went without sleep. I’m not much for young adult fiction, but this novel kept me on the edge of my seat and I can’t wait for the sequel.
Excellent.
