Book Review – Moon Tiger by Penelope Lively

⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
This was my first time reading any Penelope Lively and I really liked this book. Claudia is an older lady, lying in a hospital bed and reflecting on her life. As a writer of popular history books, Claudia has decided to write a history of the world, and her place in it.
As Claudia tells herself the story of her life, the reader is taken through her unusual family story, her lost love, and the tumultuous war years. The writing is evocative and often surprising. The story is written in a non-linear style, with swift changes in perspective, and it kept me hooked.
I look forward to rereading this book very soon.
